We’re Christians, Not Robots

I am on a huge equality kick right now. Yes, I believe In God. Yes, I try to encourage others to do the same. But never have I looked down on someone for not having the same belief system as I do, or ever tried to force my beliefs down their throat. I am infuriated right now, and I will try to be as calm as possible as I write this.

Dissing on others religions, faith, and morality is like dissing someones character. It’s a personal choice that we have made in our lives to live by, it doesn’t make it any less right or wrong than the other. We should never make fun of Muslims, Mormans, or Athiests, or make blunt, obscure, statements publicly to humiliate any ones belief system. When it comes down to it, we are ALL human. We all believe what we believe is RIGHT. So who is to judge otherwise unless its for the well-being of a persons life.

God created us on this earth, there is no doubt in my mind that I got here any other way. He also created us to Love one another. Yes, LOVE. We use this word as an example of the love God uses. The unconditional, unfailing, non-judgmental love. There are Christians in this world, who in fact, don’t use this kind of love everyday. But God never intended us to be perfect. He created us with free will and a sinful nature like each and every one of you… I’m rambling. I need to stay focused.

I want to make a point here. My point is, we as Christians, are not forced to believe what we believe. We have free will, we make mistakes, and we constantly ask for forgiveness. I have never once considered myself to have LOST my free will in any sort of way. I am not controlled by God, there have been many times where I’ve pushed him away to do what I want. But I can’t live that way. I couldn’t imagine another way of life. I CHOOSE to love instead of hate. I CHOOSE to pray. I CHOOSE to keep myself pure. Not to prove a point, not to make myself look better than anyone else, and certainly not to seem brainwashed. I have not missed out on living my own life. I have chosen to live this way. I am a Christian, and I believe the Jesus Christ died for my sins. I believe that God Is The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. And I believe that through HIM I am saved will have eternal life.

What do you believe?
